  1. Lasik is a good model for cosmetic surgery and probably regular doc visits. I think people do need to be more aware of costs of getting something done but if the industry really wanted to help with keeping costs down they would provide that but good luck finding out how much a procedure costs.

    What about ER costs?? Who picks up the tab when you don’t have a choice?

    Employer based health care does mess with the system but going all free market does nothing for the general public, only those who can afford it.

    You will also have to rewrite the good Samaritan laws too because if the hospital doesn’t think you can pay the bill, see ya, hell they are already doing this…..
